<h2>Overview</h2><p>Super Meat Boy Forever is the sequel to the 2010 indie platformer <a href="/super-meat-boy/3030-25114/" data-ref-id="3030-25114">Super Meat Boy</a>. Unlike it's predecessor, Super Meat Boy Forever is an auto-runner game. The game is both developed and published by <a href="/team-meat/3010-7230/" data-ref-id="3010-7230">Team Meat</a>.</p><p>A teaser trailer titled "<em>A Voyeur for September</em>" was released by Team Meat in 2014 showing grainy footage of a garden and house. Two weeks later is was revealed during PAX that "<em>A Voyeur for September</em>" was an anagram of "<em>Super Meat Boy Forever</em>" and their new title would be heading to <a href="/iphone/3045-96/" data-ref-id="3045-96">iOS</a> and <a href="/pc/3045-94/" data-ref-id="3045-94">PC</a>. Development of the game then went quiet until Aug 2017, where Super Meat Boy Forever was finally re-announced as releasing on <a href="/playstation-4/3045-146/" data-ref-id="3045-146">PS4</a>, <a href="/xbox-one/3045-145/" data-ref-id="3045-145">Xbox One</a>, <a href="/nintendo-switch/3045-157/" data-ref-id="3045-157">Nintendo Switch</a>, <a href="/pc/3045-94/" data-ref-id="3045-94">PC</a>, <a href="/iphone/3045-96/" data-ref-id="3045-96">iOS</a>, and <a href="/android/3045-123/" data-ref-id="3045-123">Android</a>.</p><h2>Gameplay</h2><p>Super Meat Boy Forever is an auto-runner style game that allows the player to dash and attack. Controls are limited to two buttons and each level is "dynamically constructed" from a selection of pre-designed sections. Once a level has been completed the game increases it's difficulty by generating a slightly harder version of the level.</p><p>Players control either Meat Boy or Bandage Girl as they (automatically) run through various levels. The two button control scheme can be used to jump, punch, dive and slide.</p><h2>Characters</h2><p>Characters revealed so far are:</p><ul><li><strong>Meat Boy</strong> (Playable) - Protagonist from the original <a href="/super-meat-boy/3030-25114/" data-ref-id="3030-25114">Super Meat Boy</a> game.</li><li><strong>Bandage Girl </strong>(Playable)- Meat Boy's love interest. Previously the "Damsel in Distress".</li><li><strong>Nugget</strong> - Meat Boy and Bandage Girl's child. Female.</li><li><strong>Dr. Fetus</strong> - Main antagonist of the Super Meat Boy series.</li></ul><h2>Story</h2><p>The two main characters (Meat Boy and Bandage Girl) have had a child named Nugget. One day they are attacked by Dr. Fetus (the antagonist from <a href="/super-meat-boy/3030-25114/" data-ref-id="3030-25114">Super Meat Boy</a>), who steals Nugget away from them. The game focuses around them traversing difficult levels in order to save Nugget.</p>
