It was later released on the <a href="/nintendo-switch/3045-157/" data-ref-id="3045-157">Nintendo Switch</a> on August 9, 2018.</p><p>Loosely based on <a href="http://www.adventuretimegamejam.com/submissions/44-adventure-minute" data-target="true" data-nofollow="true" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">Adventure Minute</a> (an <a href="https://www.giantbomb.com/adventure-time/3025-2327/" data-ref-id="3025-2327">Adventure Time</a> fangame developed by Nijman and Calis for the <a href="http://www.adventuretimegamejam.com/" data-target="true" data-nofollow="true" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">Adventure Time Game Jam</a> on September 2012) and developed in <a href="/gamemaker/3015-2912/" data-ref-id="3015-2912">GameMaker Studio</a>, Minit features a premise where the player character <a href="/time-limit/3015-753/" data-ref-id="3015-753">automatically dies</a> after one minute of gameplay, forcing them to restart back to their <a href="/checkpoints/3015-292/" data-ref-id="3015-292">checkpoint</a> with any progress they have made. The game also features a distinct monochromatic <a href="/pixel-art/3015-7753/" data-ref-id="3015-7753">pixel art</a> style.</p>
