<h2>Overview</h2><p>Snake Pass is a physics based platformer developed and published by <a href="/sumo-digital-ltd/3010-3954/" data-ref-id="3010-3954">Sumo Digital</a> for <a href="/pc/3045-94/" data-ref-id="3045-94">PC</a>, <a href="/xbox-one/3045-145/" data-ref-id="3045-145">Xbox One</a>, <a href="/playstation-4/3045-146/" data-ref-id="3045-146">PlayStation 4</a>, and <a href="/nintendo-switch/3045-157/" data-ref-id="3045-157">Nintendo Switch</a>. Players control a Snake named Noodle as he collects various relics as well as various other collectables scattered around the world. The game could be loosely described as a platformer, as Noodle's quest often has him traversing various platfoms, however as Noodle lacks legs he cannot jump and must instead slither around them.</p><p>The game's visual style evokes similar vibes to that of classic <a href="/rare-ltd/3010-174/" data-ref-id="3010-174">Rare</a> games although it is not made by them. As the game came out just a few weeks before <a href="/yooka-laylee/3030-49158/" data-ref-id="3030-49158">Yooka Laylee</a>, a game made by several former Rare employees comparisons have been made between the two games.
